I’m Gary Leland. I’m over 70, and I’m running The 200 Year Life Project, a public experiment on my own body. Here is how I decide what goes on this site, so you know how much weight to give it.
What I Test
Everything I write about, I do myself: the supplements, the devices, the blood tests and the daily routines. I report my own numbers, and I tell you when something didn’t work or when I stopped using it.
My Results vs. Research
I keep my personal results separate from what studies show. When I say “my glucose went up 50 points,” that is one man’s reading. When I say “a study found,” I link to the source so you can read it yourself. My own results are listed on my Tests and Stats page.
Affiliate Links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products I personally use, and posts with affiliate links say so. You can see everything I use on my Toolkit page.
How I Use AI
I use AI tools, including Claude, to help me research, fact-check and draft. I review what goes up and decide what gets published. The experiences and the numbers are mine.
No Medical Review
I am not a doctor, and I am definitely not your doctor. No doctor reviews these posts before they are published. Nothing here is medical advice. Talk to your own physician before you change anything.
Corrections
If I get something wrong, I want to know, and I will fix it. Tell me through my contact page.
Live long and prosper,
Gary
